This may be a dumb question but I don't really want to mess anything up on my new blaster. I will be asking questions before I do anything on it or at least finding threads that address the issue.

My question is since the blaster has the oil injector block off can I remove the reservoir? Or would this be a bad idea incase an owner after me (if there is one) decides that they would rather the injector? :-/ I think it looks stupid not be used sitting back there and would just rather remove a useless part.

Thanks guys

I took mine off and could not tell ya where the he!! it is nor what I did with it, probably trashed.

And, there are no dumb questions, especially when you are trying to learn about your bike and how to work on it/maintain it. That is what forums like this are for, take all you need and give back where ya can... I:I

I guess I'm in the minority.... I left mine on and keep oil in it. I figure if I'm ever in a pinch on a trail without enough premix and I need gas, I'll always have a ready supply of oil. Also, all I did for my block off was tee the supply line and run the small injection line to that.... that way, the pump keeps lubed and everything is right there if I put the original carb back on. Guess I'm strange like that?

I took Mine off both my blasters. We still got em laying around. There is a bracket that comes off too. Just unhook the wires and fold them back to the bendy clip and wallah lol I thought it looked hideous and I wasn't using it either.

make sure u check out the thread on how to properly block it off its not as simple as just disconecting it. check the do it your self section
