Dumb question about crank bolt

Changing crank seal on clutch side and can't get the nut off crank gear. Here's the dumb question.....is the nut standard tread or reverse. Just thought i would ask b4 i get the breaker bar out.

Standard thread. It's just really tight. The trick is to pinch a penny in between the crank gear and the clutch basket gear or the balance shaft gear.

Using an impact gun helps but you still have to throw some arm on it.

I've actually had to use an 18" pull bar and a gigantic pair of channel locks on that nut before. It was that tight...

Impact wrench on full power works great! Or a BFBB

I used my 18v Impact. Came off pretty easy.

the penny didnt work for me, so i go a gear jammer from motion pro works good
