The trick is to pinch a penny in between the crank gear and the clutch basket gear or the balance shaft gear. Using an impact gun helps but you still have to throw some arm on it. I've actually had to use an 18" pull bar and a gigantic pair of channel locks on that nut before. It was that tight...
