The motor is in soo many pieces. I'd buy a full bike so that you have the complete engine and all the radiator stuff too.

yea true ud have to buy the jug the head and then the electronics off him... then ud have to find a radiator

I emailed him and told him he was nuts breaking it all up like that... a complete running motor with all the electronics would sell fast and probably fro some pretty good money

^^ I agree. It amazes me how some people parts out perfectly running things. Some things make sense but others don't. Like when people tear things down to far. For example that guy and the engine.

I have looked around off and on, and those are hard to come by. That motor makes 31hp compared to the 17 stock. I wouldnt mind getting one eventually. The only thing is do they even make a 240 kit for them?

the porting is very similiar to a blaster, it looked like a standard blaster 240 sleeve would go in there, but i would be close with the power valve. the advance curve and total advance is much more radical than the blaster's. decent porting and a better carb and pipe, should see 40 hp no problem.

yep..it bolts right on, but you also need the wiring harness & cdi, the stator and flywheel (electrics bolt right on but are completely different than a blaster), as well as the dt clutch cover/waterpump..then you have to get creative with a gear to drive it. it's MUCH simpler to get a whole DT motor, plus on the DT the primary ratio is taller as well as the trans ratio... making life much better gearing wise for you guys with the 18" skateboard wheels on you bikes. you can also set the dt stator up to put out about 150 watts for the lights. the wr 200 head gaskets work too I believe.

cylinder might bolt right on but....how ya gonna get a water pump hooked up right to a blaster case??? sounds pretty far fetched, def try to get the whole engine....plus, just ta let you know, radiators are FREAKING EXPENSIVE !!! i had to recently buy the laft side(non fill side ) for my yz and they go for about $100.00 a piece used on ebay. and thats cheep if ya find one.to buy one new is over $200.00 a piece.

on the blaster this is just a guess just above where the oil injection could you put your water pump in there they have those castings that are used for nothing? what are those used for anyways? but iv never worked with liquid cooled and would just prefer air cooled.
