Downside to Larger Tires on stock rim?

Ok, well I am getting my blaster running again this weekend and want to go ride/break it in. Right now the bike has stock, B-A-L-D tires on it, (one has about 8 plugs in it, as I was ruff on it last time I took it out) I have an extra set of tires from a Honda (i belive) but what is the down side to putting 22x11x8's on the stock rim (I belive stock is a 18x10x8).

i think stock is 20 inch but but you will get like 3 to 5 mph more top speed and just a hair slower on the take off but you probly wouldnt even notice

Nothing to worry about going wider on a stock rim?

you tires are going to baloon a little thats all, but i would not recomend 22" tires on a blaster. stock size is 21"

What is the down side? this is just for a break in and a few 'rides' ( i dont race it, mainly trail riding)
