I'm looking to get some Douglas wheels from rockymountainatv.com, but I don't know what the different numbers mean. I've found wheels that say .125, .160, and .190. Any help would be great.

Thanks
Casey

thats wheel thickness. as in how thick the metal is they used to make them. the thicker the stronger. douglas wheels are probly the lightest wheels made. obviously teh thicker, the heavier, and stronger..all that comes with a price... the .160 and .190's are probly the best for an all around wheel. blue labels .125 are good for dunes...

each kind of wheel has a color label...i think it goes:
.125-blue
.160 black
.190-red

yellow is rolled lip wheels.

no prob, that why we are here.....to guide you in the right direction....spread our knowledge

Sorry one more question. What size should I get for the front? 10x5, 10x6, 10x7, 12x6, or 12x7? Again I jump and ride trails, no racing.

Thanks
Casey

i would get what ever the stock wheel is you dont want a super wide front wheel, esp if you flip them, which it looks like you do....its gonna steer funny. so maybe 10x5 or 6....

oh almost forgot, offset has a big play on the way your bike handles too...so you might want to worry about offsets too...idk if you really have a choice in the offset of the wheel tho....

Thanks for the help. I do flip my fronts.

I don't see any choice for offsets.

Thanks

yeah i noticed you were one of those wheel flipper guys. a lot of blaster guys do that for a cheap wider stance.

i didnt think there was a choice for offsets. some of the wheels have different offsets. you should be fine with whatever they send you im sure...that blasty will look sweet with some nice shiny douglas wheels....you lookin to get new tires too?

RMATV send you whatever offset they want... i've been through that before with them..

Yeah I'm lookin to get some Maxxis Razr's 20x11x8. Will those be good?

i like razrs. i've never had a bad experience with em. teh y get nice traction, and are a good looking tire also. some guys go with 18's, they look a little better, but you lose ground clearance and top end power, made that mistake on my blaster when i had it. all i had to do was put a 14t front sprocket, never did.......you should be good i would think

get 10inch wheels on the back look alot better than those little 8inchers easier to polish too
