the guy i bought my blaster from told me to put in 16oz of oil with 5 gallens of gas but my bike did not smoke as much as my friends

I put in 8 ounces of oil for every 2 gallons. I mix mine at 32:1

So your putting in 8 ounces of oil for every 2 1/2 gallons of gas. That sounds about right.

you're at about 38:1 by going with that ratio. 4oz of oil per gallon of gas is ideal for blasters

38:1 is alot of oil. The Yamaha dealer told me to break mine in at 32:1 then just run 40:1 in it. I buy Maxima Super M oil and dump all of it into 5 gallons of gas and it comes out exactly 40:1

run 32:1. I recomend Castro Maxima 927 Oil. there are also low smoke oils out there so that may cause your blaster not to smoke as much. my brothers blaster smokes more than mine and we use the same gas.
