maybe someone should do a basic care and feeding of a blaster FAQ.......

Comments like 'I dont know why or how to clean an airflter" etc....

thread after thread after thread of my bike blew up, my bike wont start, I need a new crank, my brand new top end blew up, makes you wonder if a little bascic education might help. If you cant regularly service the aircleaner, should you really be trying to stick a flux capacitor off a 1933buick bultaco on a blaster??

hey phragle... you should create a thread like that. cleaning the air filter and changing the spark plug was like the first thing i learned when i was like 10. its not that hard. and for putting oil on the air filter, i used to do it until it f*cked up my warrior carb. now i just buy maxima oil filter spray lubricant. it oils awesome. i got it on my hands and its even hard to wash off my hands, so i reccomend it

the only problem......the people who need to read it won't. they'll continue to blow ther bikes up and wonder why their bike with 3 inches of dirt, special designed mud outerwear for the air filter, and more leaks than the titanic blew up..

I would read it. The routine the wife and I haveafter EVERY ride is:
wash both bikes really well
put in our extra filters
change the oil
check all bolts for tightness
I then hit all the grease fittings with a little grease
lube the chain
park them til the next ride

Nah, that would put thousands of parts counter guys out of work across the country. america needs the jobs. Besides, If all these young guys spend all there money rebuilding their bikes weekly, they arent spending there money on drugs and droopy pants... I feel I am already doing my part to benefit society

lol. i laugh at these kids with their droopy pants. im only 22, but i think its stupid as hell. they make your size for a reason. all these kids who wear like a 32 and buy a 44 just to drop them to their knees.
