Does this sound like a clutch problem?

I took my quads out Saturday I took my 4 stroke quad off the trailer let it run and warm up about 15 minutes put it in first tried to take off and nothing happened let out on the clutch all the way and it just set there until I nearly redlined it then it would go slowly and as it picked up momentum it would go faster but wouldn't shift up

probably clutch, or something is wrong with the gear selection, maybe the selector shaft or fork is stuck

kinda sounds like 2 problems... clutch is slipping obviously but you cant shift either so you might need to take the clutch cover off and check it out. hopefully you dont have to split the cases too!! will it shift into and out of gear while its not running? might have to roll it back a forth a little but should still be able to go through the gears and back to neutral.
