Do you really need an Vito's oil block kit?

i would get one if your goining to unhook the pump, it removes the internal shaft so its not still turning and the gasket will keep water and crap out if it would happen to get in the cover! and you want have the pump just chillin in there!

i baught one, but ive just unhooked everything before on other blasters. just make sure you plug the oil hole on the carb, if you leave it unplugged it will suck air and make you run lean, a nother tip is if you have to order from vitos have your dealer do it, that way you dont have to pay shipping

i have my oil pump out, gears and all, im gonna use the pump for a template to trace onto 1/4 inch aluminum, and gasket material, i may have to shorten the bolts though, i screwed them in by hand, and they seem to be bottoming out before they get tight, make sure to lock-tite them also

yeah its the same thing as the parking brake block off lol....
I made mine for free, I took the cap off of a starter motor for a lawnmower and it was the right shape and size....i just spary painted it and bolted it on

I just had a chunk of aluminum traced the bottom of the pump and cut it out with a dremel. I used the original screws, and bought some high tack gasket stuff.

lol yeah make ur own unless you dont have access to the tools and materails then i would suggest just spending the moldy money bro!

shipping is always expensive outside of the lower 48 states. I wish it was cheaper as well. I've lost a lot of money in the past assuming it would only cost 5.00 dollars to ship.

I'd go with the kit. Do it right the first time and you wont be wrenching later.
