do i need reed upgrade?

i am doin a 3mil stroker with agr trl port. toomey b1 pipe, twin stock style airfilter 35mil pwk no airbox lid & box is drilled. do i need to get rid of my stock cage with boysen carbon fiber reeds, plus reed plate spacer, and go to a v3? will it really hold back on the performance of my new monster or what? 8-|

yes i would suggest a reedcage upgrade also, or it's gonna be a choking point and not let all that other stuff work to its full potential

i know the feeling bro, bored as hell here, and i'm sure after you ported that thing it works great, i had one that 305 sent me for free, and looked at porting it for my sons bike, but found vf2's for $60, so went that way, ended up tradin the rad for a 30mm carb, that i eventually sold for $30
