I had a FMF system on the Blaster , not too loud. I put the DMC on and went to ride at the track on Sun. I was there 10 min and someone sent the law over about the noise. The place we ride is on 80 acres but someone complained , would not say who ! I went back home and pulled it off ,no testing done. I looked at the DMC site and saw that they sell a baffle to make it more quiet , anyone know about it ?

I feel you here man. I was used to the "quiet" fmf and now I have my dynoport and it makes my ears ring.
Yeah , It sort of sounds straight through like youre Dynoport vid. The DMC baffle is $75 !
Pack it full. Mine is not louder than my 250r with a esr trx7 pipe or my 450r with a big gun evo pipe. Dmc is quiet compared to those!
New,and yes it has a baffle just louder than FMF. The officer was cool ,said he HAD respond to the noise complaint, but did not do anything. We never had one in 5 years and shoot guns there too !
Hell no ! That's what we said ,guy was here with a KTM 4 stroke the week before , that was LOUD ! We told him he had to leave ,just idling it you could not hear a word . He might have even started this problem.
that's the sucky thing about 4 stroke exhaust, the noise carries for a long distance. 2 stroke exhaust noise dissipates faster since it has a different frequency than a 4 stroke. so i am betting the KTM was the start to the noise complaints.
i dont think its too loud, we have some friends 4-6 miles away that here the predator 500 pipe

Bear in mind there are 4 poke riders that fear the sweet sound of a screaming 2 stroke!

I noticed it is a little bit louder, but not much.

theres no way its louder, friend has a predator and you cant even here the blaster over it to shift while riding, and can here him coming for like 2 miles when he rides it over, and can hear him along time when hes going home
Mine is in need of a repack, but its not obnoxiously loud. Everyone who rides with me loves its scream.
nothing worse than hearing an open exhaused harley coming or going. or when they get on the gas from a stop light a 2 in the morning. yet noone complains about them. crotch rockets also. just had to add my two cents on loud pipes
actually, that is an untrue statement. open eyes and paying attention saves lives.
