DIY a arms

Has anybody made there own extended a arms. I was thinking about doing it to save a couple of bills. I extended my own swing arm +4

im makein a jig and doin a hole front end and yes ppl have but its alot of geometry and angles to make stuf the correct length and hight and to have no bump steer lol just buy an extended set

hey man its good to use your mind to think things up like this i do to

no one is gonna say you CAN'T do it, but its all in the amount of time you want to have it done, buying them is instant gratification, doing hours upon hours of research to spend hours building, and then testing can prove frustrating but be more rewarding in the end. however if you add up the parts to build them (using good parts) you're going to notice that you're not gonna be saving as much as you may think.


that being said i'm looking into lobbing the front of a quad off to start a complete front suspension from scratch

Ask anyone who does it, its ALOT more work and trail and error then you'd think. Before you go do any thing pick up some suspension geometry books and learn a little about it.
