If you have the old drum brakes, get a set of normam420 front spindles and bolt on some Banshee or Warrior front brakes. For the rear, get awk08 rear GSXR rear brake setup. With both of them, you will stop on a dime.

there are about 20 different ways to do a front disk setup. you can get 2003+ front spindles, norman spindles, or ream out banshee spindles. then i believe almost, if not all yamaha sport atv front calipers and hubs/rotors will bolt right up. the only thing to know about that is the 450r front calipers are dual piston, which makes them pricy but worthless to you unless your a hard core racer, since your blaster is so light that a single piston caliper will lock the wheels up. the easiest way to do the lines is to get soft lines that are made for the quad. i think asr has them. or you can get lines off of the big brother quads, like i have. its cheaper, but can be a hassle. and the lever setup is the same on all the quads i believe, or at least close.

btw, i do not recommend the reamed out banshee spindle method, but others on here swear by it. i do have some that i will sell though if you are interested.
