Different T.O.R.S. Housing (taller w/wire on top)

Any ideas why my tors switch has the wire toward the top front? The gas tank sits on it. Mikuni carb, bought it not running. (Runs now )

Time to order a TORS Delete kit. Looking that clunky brick on the top of the carb helps clean everything up, and makes adjusting your carb idle alot easier.

I'm betting if that cable is on ebay, vito's has them in stock ? just not showing on that page with the other 2 pieces, a call to them may get you an assembled by them kit for cheaper ?
pretty sure they used to list the whole kit ?
