not sure how to do this here it goes i have a 2005 blaster and i want to know if i have to jet with a fmf fattty pipe and a power core 2 i dont want to change the jetting

yes with a diff exhaust you will need to rejet. anytime your airflow changes for any reason you will need to rejet. ie remove airlid, new style air filter, porting, exhaust changes. altitude and humidity can also play a roll in jetting. dont be intimidated by it its really not that hard. read up.. you sound very smart at this i need to keep up with my girls 400 ltz so i might need some help if you will i put a 14 t gear on the front and reeds that seem to help alot i got the fatty pipe and power core 2 22x11-8 raer tires so lets go from there
bigger front tooth sprocket and 22'' tires isnt going to help you in a race but maybe it will in top speed. it will take you a little while to get there... i would stick with the stock gearing and run some 20'' tires for quicker acceleration. unless she is kinds slow on the 400 she is going to have you beat still. i have a few friends with ltz400's and they are pretty quick, even faster than the 400ex. I was running 240 kit with a few other mods to keep up with the ltz and unless he missed a shift or something he had me beat...

hey guys would i have to do any mods if i put a wisco piston in my blaster.or what piston would you guys use. i have a fmf fatty pipe and muffler and it is jetted for the fmf pipe the piston is stock
