Decisions Decisions.....

not sure whats so badass about them. One a buddy had would stay even with a 350x, and I've been the 350x in drags on the blaster, both of which would top end me (but what won't) but most places I ride, I don't get out of 3rd or 4th most the time. Now if it was a 450r or something like that I would take the 450r, but between the 400ex and the blaster I would take the blaster anyday. Unless the 400ex had reverse, then maybe.

try exhausting? i have, and a 400ex doesn't get tired. i got tired before it did.
a 400ex is actually a simple machine to work one, one of the simpliest 4-strokes imo.
they are dependable if maintained and not ridden like a retard.

He meant putting a pipe on one, not riding it to death. And I will admit there really isn't much to work on as they are still air cooled, but even still the blaster is still SO much simpler, that if you can't wrench on it you don't need to bury your head in a 4-poke that has soooo much more that can go wrong incomparison.

400ex all the way man. Much better bike as stated and smoother. Although I would say keep working your butt off and keep both... it is a ton of fun to be able to switch machines.
