time to mix 32:1................ i use 28:1 to be safe/with good sythentic oil and 93 octane gas.

^^^^^ yup im starting to run 30-1 now just for a little exta oil, i cant belive that with such a huge jet it blew up.
It just quit on me. the rings didn't seize to the cylinder. they seized to the piston. and its had low compression since the beginning of October. I ran 50:1 from September to the end of October
that really sucks, i thought i blew my engine up but i tore it down and removed it from the frame to find that my clutch was completely destroyed and shattered.
yeah i know it does. well i know for a fact its my top end cause the scarring on the piston and there is also scarring on the cylinder...
I see that you adjusted the main to a 320 but what did you do the the pilot and the needle? the pilot should be increased by one or two sizes and the needle clip should have been richened by one or two clip positions. It sounds to me like you may have had a partial throttle sieze. I agree that you should be running a little more conservative fuel/oil mixture as the leanest I will run is 32:1 with my Klotz. Just remember that adding more oil will make your carb settings leaner as the oil will displace some of the gas. BTW....what color was your plug when you did a plug chop?
I ran 32:1 with my bel ray since the end of October. When i put the pipe on, i just threw a 320 main in. I dont know how to adjust the needle clip. I do know how to put in a pilot jet....
