not too worried about this, but when at idle, or revving pretty low in 1st or 2nd, i can find a spot in my throttle where it will lose power and die. its about 1/16 of the way in. also, when i jump, the floats stick and gas pours out. i gotta clean my carb when i get the new jet for my fatty, ill check out the floats then. any idea what this dead spot could be?

I think ya answered it already in bold above^^^^^^^^^^!

Cleaning the slide and generally cleaning the dull/dead metal off of your jets with 600 grit sandpaper will cure this problemt That and taking a bread twist tie wire and cleaned the gunk out of the passage ways. I had my 30 OKO do this while rideing and what I did made it crisp as fresh lettuce on a bacon burger of goodness trust me, I'm a part time doctor of dirtbikes and atv's.

The dead spot could be the TORS being fooled into shutting down due to wrong adjustment of the idle.

My boy fiddled with his throttle cable tension at the thumb throttle when he had the TORS installed. When the thumb throttle was at about 1/16 on, the spark cut out.

From memory I slackened the cable tension.
