that is the cylinder head......take a wire bruch to it or some steel wool

Look at the pits in the head. Does the top of the piston also have pits in it? If so, you may have a bad lower crank bearing. At any rate, the pits and gouges should be smoothed out. You don't need to remove them, just get rid of the sharp edges.

the piston on top just is black nothing but it did break from over heating i guess and the rings
