I have a 05 blaster that I picked up a while back. I had a leaking head gasket and went ahead and freshened up the top end with new piston and cylinder and went about my business and it runs good. what I did notice is what I removed was a vitos big bore kit and I used that head on the replacement cylinder. would the vitos head be ok since it is apparently cut for a 72mm piston?

It would probably throw the squish off plus be slightly more cc volume, lowering compression slightly.

I gave them a call and he said that the compression will be off along with the head chamber and will run terrible. funny thing my bike runs pretty good so I will be swapping a stock head on to see if it will wake it up any.
