cutting the silencer

I have seen threads on this in the past but can't seem to find them now. My question is would cutting off 2-3 inches off the back of the silencer do anything? It sticks out a lil bit past the grab bar and I don't want to damage it if I put it over backwards.

no, its not going to hurt or help you, just make sure which ever end you cut you put back together good.
