Nahh no fights here.. Just talkin tailights... here's what i fab'd up on my Banshee after moving the cdi and shaving the subrame. Used some RIS desings billet pipe hangers to mount the lights and tucked them under the seat.

The Led's look great for the taillights , I was thinkin about using 1 3" Red LED light mounted to the back of the air box , I found one that has a built in flasher circuit , so running a brake lite wire would be pretty easy , very bright and low power consumption

I didnt have a taillight at all on my 96 or 97 when I got them. I picked up a LED Marker light sorta like YB's from AutoZone for 4Bux and Just used the wires that were hanging out the back.. I Tried testing the wires first but couldn't figure out whaty setting to use the ohms meter on.

they look Good YB .. What color are the wires running to them? I have a green wire and i have no clue what its for. Could this be for the break Light?

Before 2002's its only a taillight...which means only two wires are for the light. That green wire on pre-02's is for the oil injection.

I just ordered a LED tail light from my local yamaha shop and it has a brake light also. More lights up when you hit the brakes.
Ill post some pics when I get it mounted. Should be in tomorow.

Only 14.99 and it's UFO I think.
