Does anyone have any experience with these ? It seems they would blow up with that much hp( 40!?!? ) . Also it says that the fire breather is stroked but it doesn't list that for the sonic is that just a typo for the sonic?

40hp is a little exagurated... the ct big bore doesn't just give you 23 hp, itss the kit as a whole, the pipe, carb, and cookie cutter port work that they offer.

As far as the pb kits its the same deal, I believe the fire breathers are plated though.

There is still alot more to be had out of either of these kits, theres alot more to it then just bolting them on and ripping.

Both are badass though... It comes down to which one you feel is best for you.

and yes you can run a stroker with them if thats what your asking? you still need them step up for a stroker, they don't come pre made for them.

40+ hp not kidding. 240 ct

"The dyno chart above is using our complete CT Sonic 240cc big bore package with a Keihin 38mm PWK Air Striker carb kit. We normally recommend using the Keihin 36mm PWK carb kit for recreation riding. It drops a couple of peak horsepower, but gains a significant amount of bottom. The price is the same with either carburetor."

CT Sonic 200cc Blaster Complete Package......$1735.00
Kit includes: New Sonic cylinder, CT porting, head, piston kit, wrist pin bearing, reed cage, intake boot, Keihin 36mm PWK pre-jetted carburetor, cable, CT pipe and silencer, and top-end

its not just the jug and head that gives you 40hp, its the overall package..

and unported.. trust me you can get 40+ easy out of a ct. it just depends how you want your bike set up.
maybe that dyno is ported.. hell idk. i just know my bike rips and ive had a few guys tell me there is alot more to squeeze out of it. .

No.. it comes pre-ported from them.
And thats what I've been saying!!!!!!
I'm not saying anything bad... but you cant just bolt on a jug and get 40hp, its the whole package.

oh i agree man .. ive heard good things about the airsol as well.. but you would need a pipe, reeds, and carb to make it a package. the combination of all will give you more power.. lol

If I was to get this I would really like to use my 35 mil carb instead of spending 200 bucks for one more mm lol. So 305 ur running 106 or better with no stroker? And is urs ported by them?thanx for ur help man I'm selling my kx85 for 1000 bucks and mite get one of these could I just wana understand ur setup basicly

Jw would it be benificial to buy 250r vf3s or no. And how is ur reliability 305 has it blown up ? Thanx and I did check out that link .

i havent had any problems with mine i got my bike over a year ago and it had this motor in it.. fires up second or third kick cold and first kick all day if its been started that day..
