Crank/tranny oil type and weight.

I just changed the oil on all my quads, I usually run Castrol GTX. Walmart had the Vavoline 4T oil on sale in the clearance for like $4 each, I added it to my Honda and it was like a brand new machine, shifted great ran better and faster! I put Mobile 1 10W-30 in the blaster just regular motor oil, I figured just since I just got it, run oil thru a cycle to clean out any stuff that might be there. The manual recommends 10W30, any issues running 10W40 full synthetic? I was really impressed with the Valvoline and would like to add it to the quad, just want to get other opinions on this and good/bad experiences from other Blasty owners.

Lots of threads about this should search using the search option. Hopefully not regular motor oil or motor oil with fiction modifiers. You need oil storable for wet clutch applications

10w30 is recommended, some guys run 10w40 but it has to have absolutely no friction modifiers added,
