Are all these tools necessary to split the cases or can it be done without some of them?

1. Tusk Clutch Holding Tool
2.Tusk Crankcase splitter/seperator
3.Tusk Flywheel puller 27mm
4.Tusk Crank Puller/Installer

Looking at $146 worth of tools. lol

im trying to split my crankcase but i cant figure it out and google it but cant find anything there either. if you figure it out, let me know

You don't need the holding tool if you leave the engine in the bike while you loosen the flywheel nut and clutch nut, Or and Impact gun works pretty good too. I prefer to use a flywheel puller but if your careful you can get it off with a little prying and hammering. You don't really need the case splitter, it is help full though. You can get by with a $15 harmonic balancer puller, or I guess a rubber mallet. The Crank puller is a good idea though, you can knock the crank outta true by hammering the cases together, but a some heat and freezing on the right parts and it might go together with no problems.

The right tools make the job alot easier but you can get by with out them, IMO I would get the flywheel puller and crank puller.

i use everyday ordinary tools for splitting the blaster case.

be sure to take the left side case half of and not the right. but you will need to remove the right side cover to remove the bolt from the crank balancer gear.

when you put it back together be sure to line the crank balancer and balancer gear back up using the marks. if not it will vibrate really badly.
