A lot of people have been asking about how much side to side slop is ok at the small end of the rod( piston end) I don't have a v notch or any calculated way to measure it but I just got my new 3 mil stroker in today and measured the side to side by setting it on a bench where it wouldn't move then putting a tape measure up to it with the end of the tape against a solid surface so it won't move around. there was less than 1/16 play then I did an old crank and there was about 1/2 inch play. also if the needle bearings in the bottom of the rod are not perfectly perpendicular to the rod CHANGE IT! hope this helps. not an exact science but it might give some of you guys an idea of what to look for.
