Crank seal retainer removal?

I am working on replacing the crank seals and I am not sure how to get the crank seal retainer off on the clutch side. Any help is appreciated

I use an impact screwdriver with the correct phillips head bit in it. Im pretty sure its a #3.

I have the two screws off... But where the actual seal is is what I can't get out

I'm sorry I thought you meant the Small retaining plate that holds them down.
The actual seal it self is what you mean?

Nm i got ya. Miss understood for a second. If you mean just the seal, you can use a flat head screwdriver, small pry bar, or like stated a seal extractor. careful to not gouge it. When u reinstall the seal use a socket n a little oil.

If you bought new seals (as you should have) Just screw a drywall screw into it and pull I:I

Well the new seal doesn't look like that. And this doesn't look like I could get a screw into. It's a kind of metal. The other side I was able to do that though.

I copied your pic and marked it. Hope that helps. That isn't your crank. Thats part of your clutch assembly.

Here you go. I put a small drywall screw very carefully into each side. I mean barely into it, just enough to grab. Then pull on the screw with some channel locks evenly. It will come out.

I highlighted the screw and retainer plate that I thought you were talking about the first time I responeded.

Don't feel stupid. Asking for help is a very smart quality. And you know you did the job yourself makes it more worthwhile.
