Crank Seal Issues.

Hey guys, the seal from the tranny side is blown. I have tried everything to take her out. Theres carnage every where and its pissing me off X(. I really need some more input. Could i give her some heat to soften her up because shes hard as a rock. And like glued to the aluminum!

Some heat may help, but be careful not to over heat, a little at a time.

Replace both sides while you are at it.

Thread a drywall screw into it and pull it out.

screw trick usualy works, try slicing around the edge with a razor blade to help seperate it from the metal

i use picks or a regular sized flat head and a hammer.Unless you know how to use the heat id avoid it.That case is soft aluminum and it dont take much to render a case unuseable.

Should be about a 30 min job start to finish.

Some tard might have used 3bond/yammabond on it. I accidently found something that will disolve 1194, Birchwood/Casey gun scrubber. Stinks 10X brake clean, so it's gotta be good. Kinda pricy. As stated try a little heat.
