im getting a new cr125 ,1997.what should i mix the gas 32;1 or 40:1

I've got an '01 cr125 and I mix mine at 40:1

i was runing my rm 80 at like 36-1 40-1 would be best though..

I had a late 80's cr 125 and that thing was so much fun. Fast as hell too.

Are the newer ones faster or is it the same engine?

my '01 is completely stock and its a turd. It runs good but its nothing compared to my '99 yz that I used to have

wouldnt 40:1 be too lean

Not at all. even 50:1 is ok for liquid cooled motors ( cutting it close tho). We just have to baby our weak little blasters, so 32:1 for them. But you can run 32:1 for extra safety, its whatever makes you comfortable.
