couple of questions regarding blaster

Hey, well collected the quad yesterday and is runnin all good, havent had a chance to take it off roading, gonna do that on sunday, anywayy i started it up an theres smoke coming out of exhaust, now im sure that happens when theres too much 2 stroke in it but would it cause a problem? its not loads its just a bit..hard to explain. so i need a answer on that, also would these handle bars fit as i need them, mines a 1999

ah..problem..your in canada im in uk ...would the ones in the link fit?

the petrol/oil was from the previous owner so i thought id burn it off then put my own 32:1 mixture << thats right

also is it better for it to be smoky than not b smoky? if you know what i mena..like if you put more than 32:1 it wouldnt do anyhting would it?

if its white smoke, thats a whole different thing. but if its just blue/grey then its fine.

all 2 strokes will have some blue smoke that comes out of the exhaust.

thoes handle bars will work fine.

how old was the gas that guy gave you? make sure its not to old.

If its blue its all good, but if its white then its got a bad crank seal, and yes 32:1 is right, and the more oil the better, but you still dont want to get to carried away with the oil!

right well ill probably take that out and put some fresh in, he gave me some oil that he used with it..should i use it as i havent been able to purchase some atm..its some synthetic oil :s..so it would be 3.2ltrs petrol to 100ml oil?

Use a ratio right. It had marks on it telling you exactly how much oil to put depending on how much gas you have. Don't go with to much oil, dont get below 28:1.

if the previous owner has been using it and the quad still runs, i am sure that its fine to use for now.
