anyone know how to stiffin up the steering?

Yamaha Blaster YFZ Quad ATV PEP steering damper on eBay, also, Trike, ATV Quad Parts, Motorcycle Parts Accessories, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Nov-08 18:10:57 GMT) how would i put this on or what? whats the cheapest and easiest way to stiffin up the sterring on my blaster. its very light an goes into every bump on the road. what can i do?

i think that is called hunting, when the bike seems to swerve on its own. that stabilizer will stiffen up the stering but ya may also want to check ball joints and tire rod ends. if there is slop they should be replaced.

I know REEDracing94 has a duncan stabilizer on his Blaster... Might send him a PM, and ask him how he installed it... He probably has pictures of it on as well... I would try to help you, but I forgot how he managed to get it working..

You could mount it anyplace that it will not bind up. Most of the time you will need to wrap rubber around the stem so the clamp will tighten down on it. We mounted ours in several places. The place that I liked it the most was to drill a hole where the top bracket is where the front bumper mounts and mount the canister there.

You might want to check your alignment also.

Make sure your front wheels are towed in a little. that also helps your quad from wanting to find every rut in the road.
