counter balance weight 400gram???

hello i machined the balance weigth of my blaster from 550 gram stock to 400
gram has anyone tried this before??

I've never done this but been thinking about it. I think you're going to have to do some work to the crank or it's going to vibrate. Good for you for giving it a shot. I'm very curious what happens.
 
do lightened flywheels cause any further vibration ?????
 
You might want to take a look at a YZ250 crank and see how they get the vibrations down as low as possible without a counterbalancer shaft. My YZ250 engine had four holes machined into the end throws to help offset the balance. Perhaps something like that could be done to the blaster crank
 
So it is a pvl stator, what does it do? what is the benefit of it? what dose pvl stand for???

It usually is the stator,flywheel,cdi,coil,regulator,plug cap and wire and whatever else they throw in.lol This setup will let you delete your wiring harness but the downfalls are you can't run any type of lights.The flywheel is very very light on these pvl's.The ignition curve is programable.In my opinion you can get the same performance out of a lightened flywheel,adjustable stator plate,nology coil and hot wires.
