Cost of Porting

Hey Guys,

I don't need a rebuild right now and hopefully i won't for awhile but when i do i want to do it fairly full out. Just curious how much would it cost to get a topend bored and honed to the next size and then it ported with an agressive trail port and ported for a +3 crank? that is prob what i would do if i needed to. No one has really said how much porting costs

you need to contact the engine builder you're going to use and get prices directly from them.

I don't know..the last time I payed for porting was somewhere around 1990... back then it was a couple hundred bucks... if porting prices had kept up with inflation, you guys would be spending 12~15 hundred bucks for a basic trail port today.

gives you a sh*tload more power and you can get it ported for the power range you want like more high rpm low mid or all around
