I have a 89 blaster and I wana convert the brakes to a hydraulic system. Looking for the best set up but have no clue where to start looking. Some one please help!!!!

you will need spindles from an 03-06, hubs, brake calipers, brake lines, and brake master cylinder. norman420 makes spindles and you can use hubs from newer style banshee's or raptors. maybe others also. im sure if you do some research you can find out exactly what will work but the easiest is to just find an 03+ thats being parted and snag the whole assembly.

Not so fast there surfrjag... read his post again.

The '88-'90 blaster had a different front suspension from the rest of the pack (the only difference between any of the years 88-02), they had a double pinch bolt spindle instead of an upper pinch bolt and a lower taper joint.

In this case, Norman420 (who is a member on here) is going to be your best choice without dropping a LOT of coin on replacing your whole front suspension. If you want to retain the majority of your setup, but get rid of those crappy drum brakes, you'll need a set of his conversion spindles which are double pinch bolts.

I donated one I had to the cause a while back so I know he DOES get them...

Other than that... you need any year banshee hubs or '90+ warrior hubs and pretty much the hydraulic system off any sport quad other than a polaris or artic cat (both of those had some models which used wilwood brake systems which were all ties together)

yep...norman420 for a front setup, be sure to tell him what year your workin with
and holler at me for rear hydro's

Got a set of spindles sitting right next to me I haven't posted on Ebay since, every time I post the '88-'89 spindles, someone buys them and thinking they will work with the '90-2002 spindles. I swap them out for free and end up eating the second shipping fees since I want to keep my !00% positive feedback.

Drop me a PM is you're interested. I'll shoot you a deal.

May have been. Somehow I ended up with 3 sets of the old style. I'm not very good at keeping track of what is coming and going.

Thanks guys is there a price on those spindles. Yeah these brakes are relics and the guys I bought it from powder coated em in place. So the rear is junk and the fronts are bonded together. Thanx for the input
