I was wondering if any 1 had some input on my theory.I was thinking that if I check my compression at set intervals and as soon as it gets to the bottom of the allowable range I rering that this would prolong bore life.What you guys think?:-[

exactly what to do, i wouldn't let it even get to the low end of the range.
but depending on how hard or often you ride, what oil/ratio, and what mods are done, it could be years until it needs it.
it's part of my routine maintenence to check mine at least a few times a year.

thanks awk I am just trying to get as much life out of her as I can.I run her hard as I do my other bikes but I do keep up maintnence.i run 32 1
25:1 will extend the life and increase the compression, but you have to fit a size larger main jet to compensate.
