ok know for the rear of the swingarm there is a couple of things I favored here i like how ybs is more beefed up and more towards the rear of the swinger unlike the ebay one and yb's it has way more thickness to it heres the pics

i would just be careful with those welds on the shock mount part.. they don't look like they penetrated very deep. but it looks very good other wise, im sure it much better then that eBay bull$hit

this is exactly what i've been waiting for, proof that these swingers suck, and will break, and if it can be broken, i will break it, luv me some big air, imagine that breakin on a hard double landing, good thing i waited

I deff agree with what Hatchhonda said about the welds on the shock mount. They don't look penetrated very deep. Next time if your welder doesnt seem to be penetrating very well leave about a 1/16th gap between your metals or bevel the edges. That should ensure that your welds will be strong.

Other than that it looks really good. I would deff feel better riding with one like that rather than a swing arm shop one. Good Job

talked to my bro about weldin a swinger up, and he's tryin to tell me mig'n it will be as strong as a stick welder, i disagree, i think stick penetrates deeper
opinions???

if you set the heat range right the mig would penetrate, the pics of yb200 welds look a little bubble gummy

^ yep, gotta have enough heat. I prefer tig welding tho, nothing beats it for penetration or looks

wow are we talking about penitration on a blaster forum???lol

looks good yb... maybe a little more time gringing and touch up welding andyou could have some mint lookin swingers.. deff looks stronger than the ebay one...

and i hate stick welding.... give me a wire feed !!

Give me a mig anytime over a stick welder. I'd make my own extended swinger if I were more confident in my welds and if I didnt have to borrow a good welder from someone every time i wanted to make good welds.

I've used both in welding 1/8 to 1 1/2" plate. It is all in how you set them up. I enjoy a stick better. I always feel like I'm cheating by using a wire feed. I would soooo love to get to a tig machine and learn how to use it!!!!
