Alrighty quick question im heading up to Vermont this weekend with freinds to our buddys cabin in the woods. NO heat NO water NO electricity got teh wood stove and propane. anwyayz. i wanna bring the blaster now... i tried startin it the other day and it took about 15 minutes it was cold as hell should i leave the fuel on so the lines dont get moisture adn freeze in VT or what??? and what is a easy way around the whole 20 min cold start phase. Carb clean in spark plug hole???

theres no way around the warm up phase unless you wanna blow it up
also if you leave your gas on it could gum up in the carb and cause running issues

mount holly near rutland.. yea what about pop startin it there is a nice hill up there its just i wanna ride it to the country store in the AM to get breakfast sanndwiches there AWEESSOMME and i dont wanna sit there for 20 min freezein my ass off kickin the f*ckin thing lol

usually when i go out riding and its cold enough for freezing ,when i put it up for the night ,i turn the screw on the bottom of the carb that drains the float bowl out so theres no excess in it

if your kickin hard enough you will stay warm!j/k
if its that hard to start maybe you should check your compression

haha yea the compression is fine it is jsut the cold.. it doesnt take 20 min lol it takes about 5 just seems like forrrevver when its 10 degrees out and im hungover

Do you have it jetted right?? How is the plug?? How is the air filter??

It shouldn't take that long to start. I rode my blaster yesterday and it was ~18 degrees out before the wind chill.

Also, careful riding on the roads in VT if you're not registerd in VT. Vermont's #1 source of income is out of staters!!

i dont like the way it runs when it runs out of gas
mine revs up real high then dies ,just doesnt seem like its that good for it so i just drain it into a cup and pour the remains back in the tank

its not main rds its dirt roads near my buddies cabin there is a lil local store about 1 mile down the dirt road where we get our fuel and what not i never see the police up theree

i never stop for em but i can slide into the garage at home so they dont know where i live
the only thing you will have to worry about is somebody at the store seein you and giving you a hard time ,whatever you do stay off the vast trails if you can cause people are real anal about the snowmobile trails, and we have been out working on them tryin to get them open for the 15th
but just moss em all

i understand that, i have just never once, shut off my gas, and still today have never had a problem, fouling pugs or hard starting ect.
