Cold weather riding.

i like how you hit nice soft stuff when your quad digs into the snow too lol

trees still hurt though...haha

ok fellas.....any suggestions for helmets? never worn one on a regular basis so i have no idea what i'm looking for even.... only used a buddy of mine's for a few stunts.... other than that... never worn one.... what should i be looking for?

well i crashed on a dirtbike one time and my $110 helmet held up, it had a big crack in it, this was a major crash, i still ended up with a mild concussion, i dont know how that was all. since then i bough a fox v3 pilot, cost me 300 dollars, it is really tight to get on, but when it is on it is amazing, the tightness adds support. it is light and comfortable. you never reuse a hemet after a crash for it can be entirely wrecked and you wont know

typically a rule is a comfortable tight fit, there should be slight movement, but the way i mean tight is the collar of the helmet quite smaller than the head portion which stops up and down movement

yeah facial hair lice would suck considering my big ol terrorist beard... ha!

Nice Phil, way to consider your safety, even after some mixed thoughts and ball bustin, we are just lookin' out for another blaster bro ya know??? That shows you are a good guy with a head on your shoulders, that NOW ya wanna protect, whoo hoo!!! LOL I:I

Helmets really are your best bet, any way ya look at it.

I never use to like wearing a helmet either. Hit a deer at about 100kms on my cbr 600 this summer.I went over the bars, went about 50 feet before i hit the pavement. Wore the side of my helmet completely threw to the foam where the faceshield attaches. Iwent over 200 feet down the road according to the RCMP. Runed my helmet and leather jacket, no they wheren't cheap . Police and paramedics coulden't belive I was up walking around when they arrived. I'll never go without one now, way to much to live for.
