coil and plug wire

well that sux.so in order to change the plug wire you need to buy a new coil.mine doesnt need to be changed or anything.but its good to know not to be pulling on it thinking it will be changeable lol
If you cut more than about an inch and half back off the end of the wire, you will have to replace the coil/wire assembly.
Well sometimes the wire goes bad inside the spark plug boot and you have to cut a little bit off to get new wire inside the boot.
wire is good.was just curious about the wire so i didnt go and f things up.better to ask then diy and learn from mistakes lol
Pretty sure that wire just screws onto the coil assembly the same as the end piece does. So, Im pretty sure you can change it. Ill have to check on mine.
That's an aftermarket coil then or a coil to fit something else adapted to the blaster frame. The factory yamaha blaster coil, the wire does not detach from the coil itself; only the spark plug boots comes off the coil wire.
It is a replacement coil. Its an NGK coil. Bought it from a Yamahar dealership tho. Must be what they sell now.
