hi today i was riding my blaster and im like let me check the oil in the tranny so I undo the little black thing and look in side now u no how its like a flat metal peaice then like a gear on the egde of the flat metal peaice theres like groves or place where its got hit by something is this normal where.or what shold i do

???? Not sure about the grooves, take a pic. But that hole won't help you check the oil level. Look at the side of the motor, there is a viewing glass. It should be halfway up that glass when it's been sitting for a while. If you just shut it off, the level will be a little lower because of oil up on all the gears and such.

i dont no if I can get pics but you no that first peaice of metal its flat nothing and then theres like a gear next to it on the edge of this flat metal peaice there alittle grinds or scrtches on it more towards the gear

if it is your clutch basket then you will have to get a new one since it is grooved

can someone take a pic of when u take off the black knob on the motor where you put the oil in and il tell u which one it is

I'm not sure about the scrathes or grooves your talking about , but vitos performance sells clutch basket and pressure plates and everything else cheaper than yamaha does

okay I jsut relized its the clutch basket on the flat part next to the gear that has some small groves in it or srapes..........how does this affect performace?........and what could cause this? and would it be bad if i dont change it for like 2 months?
