i know this has been asked but i couldnt find a clear explaination. my clutch seems to be slipping and i need to know how to adjust it. im relativaly new to this and it would be great if someone could help me out, thanks.
u can adjust it on the handlebars, try turning it in, that will allow the clutch to engage....also on the clutch arm (by the carb) make sure that the 2 arrows line up, theres one on the back side of the arm....and 1 on the case itself
sorry im so slow.. but im not to familiar with the locations. i tryed the handlebar adjustment but found it didnt help at all. the internal adjustment.. if i take the screw out farther would that fix the slipping?
you should have to move the internal screw "in" to get what ever adjustment is left.that will also help line up the arrow mark on the clutch arm with the mark on the case
i just adjusted the screw out and locked it in and it seemed to work fine now. i did this before i checked to make sure it lined up. should i go back and re-adjust? if someone can get a picture of the marks because im clueless on where it is. i see the notch on the piece with the spring but nothing on the case?
