i jus got my blaster top end rebuilt so this is the first time riding it ever, and it shoots the rpms way up when i pull the clutch to shift. so i have to really let off the throttle so it doesnt do it. wat could be wrong if anything. it jus sounds wrong i guess lol

Not entirely sure but it could be that ur clutch has too much load on the engine when it sits and idles, and u could be set up for that load on the engine, or ur clutch plates could be bad. Just a suggestion. Does it jump into first gear real hard???

nah goin into first its real smooth n all its jus wen i really get on it runnin the gears usually out of turns it sounds real bad like a loud zingggggg so im worried its messed up so i try to take it a lil easy

i no what the zinging is from cause im still running stock exhaust and that peice inside the exhaust is broke so it rattles the hell outa tht when this occurs. i mean it doesnt happen all the time jus when i get on the throttle and go to shift so im having to let off the throttle for amin until i shift up

well, you should be letting off the throttle to shift. When u pull in the clutch u are disconnecting the engine from the transmission, taking any load off of it. So if u dont release the throttle the engine will rev up.

If u ARE letting off the throttle to shift, then ur idle might be too high or your carb is set too lean.

Any idea if the bottom end was ever taken apart? Might be worth pulling the clutch cover off and checking that the balancer gear and primary drive gear are lined up. There is a mark on each gear and they should line up. I wasn't aware of this the first time I tore my bottom end apart and it it did the same thing to me. It was like I was holding the gas for a split second when I pulled the clutch. I'm assuming it was because the balancer was out of wack and keeped the motor from spooling down quickly. Worth a look I would guess.
