Well i was putting the bolts with the springs on the clutch, and one snapped inside, can i ride it with only four bolts and springs in?

Don't do it! As the others have explained....BAD IDEA! You may be able to tease the broken bolt out with a left-handed drill bit. Failing that, and you have to replace the inner clutch hub, Im sure somebody on here has a good used one they'd sell at a reasonable price.

Muahahaha, I shouldnt laugh.. this happened to me 3 damn times in a row!! what i did was try to get something fin and try push the bolt round OR one time i had it drilled out... i was putting right toque on, cant remember now, believe its 6NM , and they kept snapping.... In the end my dad did "what he did in his day" did them by hand with the screwdriver and its still holding good now I:I

This happened to me less then 2 weeks ago with 2 of the bolts, luckily the bolts themselves didn't break flush and I was able to use a small screw to slowly turn the bolts out. As said above DO NOT ride your wheeler like that, at the very least the pressure plate will not have even pressure all the way around that is required to function properly, and at worst as quadrider said if and when that bolt vibrates out you'll be spendin a lot more time and money to fix the new problems that lose bolt in your clutch/gears will cause. I didn't feel like waiting to order more oem bolts so I went to home depot and got similiar bolts and washers to replace the broken ones. Everything is still workin great.

I also just got similar bolts, and they are still holding fine :)

No dont do it.Its happend to me before.Tighten it to reuired torque wit a drop of blue locktight. You can get this part off ebay pretty cheap.

I have to disagree on the blue locktight for the pressure plate bolts. May be the reason they snapped in the first place, The spring tension on those bolts is more than enough to hold them in place when torqued properly.

I hereby declare that I agree with Slick.

Putting Loctite on small bolts disturbs the friction on the thread, and can fool the tension wrench.

Bolts should be tensioned, dry to 4.3 ft lbs.

Found this on the web.

-Threads with anti-seize paste added to it has as much higher tension (Up to 71% increase) than with dry threads. That extra tension could conceivably strip out the threads.

-When you apply anti-seize to a fastener and torque it to 100in-lbs. The amount of force you put on the bolt is as if you just torqued the bolt to 170 in-lbs!! You are effectively putting too much force on the bolt.
