Took the blasty for a spin to day to test my new 15t sprocket and after rejeting i warmed her up, and opened her up but i noticed that when i WOT'd it the bike would stop pullingX(. but when i reduced the throttle at 75% it would grab and i would let her open up by herself:-/

sounds more like a jetting or airleak issue than slipping clutch. if it doesn't slip on pavement in the lower gears it shouldn't start slipping at high rpm with less torque on it.

Dont really know if it slips on the lower gears will try that 2morrow, i dont have an air leak but had a slight jetting problem my bike was smoking alot (SMOKE SHOW!) the weather was a bit cold down here in miami fl, around 40 degrees so i droped the pilot jet from 32.5 to a 25 and the 230 main to a 240.... Does it sound like Jetting?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

when the temp goes down the jet sizes need to get bigger, and 32.5 down to 25 is a huge jump

ummm yea the smoke was white... im pretty much stock i only have vitos carbon fiber reeds, and a .040 bore (prolite-piston),,,, i went down to the 25 bc it was running rich.

it would wind out if the clutch was slippin. then it would catch and go again. i'm tellin ya you are leanin out at wot. a 240 with a pod filter is way too small the engine is starvin for fuel with the motor turning that fast

I put the 280 main in and spuddering in low to mid but mostly mid as soon as she starts opening up she clears up, the full throttle slippage has went away alot but can still feel it a tiny bit. (with 3.25 pilot)

so it was jetting, not slippage ;)

you need to work on the low/midrange now if it clears up at WOT. try dropping the needle one clip and see how it reacts

you need to take the slide out of the carb, pull the cable holder out of the center, pull the needle out, and take the clip that's on it and move it down 1 notch, then reassemble.

where is your air screw set at?(one by the fuel inlet)

1 1/2 turns out.... still dont get the needle clip removal proccess i have the tors removal.. I have to unscrew the cable of the cap all the way and then pull it out?
