Clutch problems

Hey guys just wanting some feed back my blaster seams like the clutch is slipping in high gears like from third on. When I'm in gears past third when I goose it, it seams like the motor revs first before it picks up, it's a stock clutch and its a 99 but what is strange in first second and some times third it seams normal ripping it up sh*t it will still break them lose in first in the smoth garage floor so just wanting to know if I should order a clutch tonight or is it all in my head and the clutch is fine . Thanks for any and all advice

slipping in the higher gears is the first sign of a worn clutch
time for a new one

i run the tusk in my stockish black blaster, and a driveline performance 240 hd on my white modded blaster.
both are good clutches, the drivelines are the best there is IMO

Owing to the less force needed to overcome inertia in lower gears the clutch will engage and spin the wheels.

When you are in a higher gear more power is needed to overcome the forces, that is why the clutch slips.

Do you have slack in the cable?

No break in required but it is a good idea to soak the new plates in the transmission oil of your choice overnight.

Yeah it has slack in the cable that was the first thing I checked

What sucks is I just put new tires on it I think honestly that that could have been a last straw for it with the new meaty tires lol

you'll need to follow the internal rod adjustment procedure when installing the new clutch
