When I torque the clutch nut to the 58 ft-lbs as specified the inner clutch hub does not spin freely. Too tight but how? All spacers installed and everything assembled correctly. It runs fine if i dont torque it and leave it loose but thats not a safe move. I saw another post about this problem anyone got anything?thanks

i know you said you installed all the spacers and such, but are you sure there all there? go by this diagram

just double check.

did you have the bottom end split? like were you in the transmision?

yes did all crankcase bearings and seals and rebuilt crank. Clutch is rebuilt with both new push rods and new ball. But when I torque that nut(#16 in your diagram), the inner clutch will not spin free which it should. This is a mystery to me I cant figure it out at all. I appreciate your feedback. The bike screams right now but I know that nut isn't torque'd and its scaring me
