you can try adjusting the cable first but if that doesn't work you will need to pull the right side case cover. you can leave the smaller plastic cover that covers the oil pump on for this. after you get it off you need to adjust the philips head screw in the of the bolt at the center of the clutch pressure plate. you will need to tighten it until the cluch handle will push it out free and clear of the clutch plates. if this doens't work you are probably missing the small bb sized ball bearing that is inside the clutch shaft. you will need to remove the cluch springs and pressure plate to see if it is there. don't remove the nut at the center of the clutch plate it doesn't hold it on. after you remove the springs pull the plate off and look in the hole to where the center bolt came from with a flash light. you should see a small silver ball in there. if not you are missing it and need to buy one. pretty cheep and you can order them from any oem replacement part web site. hope this helps. if it doesn't make sense just let me know.
