i just did a full rebuild on the blaster and when i pull the lever it moves the piece that moves the clutch but it does not disengage the motor. the bike still moves but wont stop when i pull the clutch. could this just be adjustment or is the clutch bad. i figured it is still good if the bike is still moving

The clutch arm might not be aligned. The point on the end of the arm with the cable unhooked should align with a casting mark on the case. Take your finger with it unhooked push it till it stops it should stop on the alignment mark. If not you need to adjust the push rod screw in the center of the clutch basket. Another thing the manual says to soak all the clutch plates in oil when reassembling.
