Hello, i tore down my clutch due to problems and replaced both pushrods and ball bearing. also replaced the clutch arm (the one that sticks out of the case). put everything back together by text book. Now when i start bike and shift into gear it goes no where. There bike will not move in any gear when clutch is release. Please help. Thanks.

Didi you make sure to line up the 2 dots??? There is one on the pressure plate and one on the clutch basket. You have to line the two dots up b/c if you dont then the pressure plate isnt putting pressure on. Once you get in there and look you will see what I am talking about.

yes i alligned both dots. One on the pressure plate and the other on the clutch boss(hub). When ever i release the clutch in gear the bike goes no where. Its like the clutch is still pulled in. I can feel the bike go into gear but it just doesnt move. i called out to the local shop and the guy told me i probably need clutch plates. I dont think mine were that bad but just in case how can i check them for wear?

the same thing happend to me as of right now haha but my plates r slipping but that also happend to me becaouse the push rods weleded them selves together and couldnt put the basket oout farther ur said u replaced them but thats just my2 cents
