Clutch help

So I'm sitting here changing my clutch and I get the new clutch on and everything but I noticed that my pressure plates don't touch the friction plate when I'm trying to tighten the springs in there. Any ideas?

do you have the dots lined up between the pressure plate and the inner boss?

whats the inner boss?

the like inner hub that the steels engage in, in the center of the basket. there's a dot on it, and a dot or arrow on the pressure plate, you have to line them up.

I found it and it lines up and matches and they touch perfectly. Thank you very much

i did the same thing.....just took it back apart and looked at it and said to myself "i bet you have to line those up" and it went right together

Haha i never would have thought of that lol.. My mind doesn't think that way, when something doesn't go right i'm instantly just like WHAT THE f*ck! Haha. Thanks again for the help man. I appriciate it. TIME TO GO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN
